Aims,
Objectives & Structure
Through proper
amendments, Yuvak Biradari has been effecting
suitable changes in its aims and objectives as
per the new needs and experiences, although the
grand vision remained the same all through. Following
is the summary of Yuvak Biradari’s objectives
mentioned in its constitution:
1. To realize
the vision of ‘whole world as one family’.
2. To remain a dedicated and ideal voluntary organisation
working constructively in tandem with the principles
of nonviolence, peace, solidarity and public welfare.
3. To strive for integration through spiritualism,
yoga, art, culture, education, service and industry.
4. To continue the tradition of volunteers for
whom nonviolence is supreme duty, and who perform
their humanist duty with a rational and scientific
vision absolutely free from ignorance & superstition.
5. To work directly in the fields of art, culture,
health, education, tourism, science & technology,
information dissemination, self employment, industry,
agriculture etc.
6. To initiate organisations, programs, campaigns
and schemes that is regular / occasional / current
in nature.
7. To organise camps, workshops and events for
the purpose of personality development of the
youth, social cohesion and national integration.
8. To help people belonging to the weaker sections
of society, particularly those who are needy,
helpless, aged, handicapped or sick, and to initiate
schemes for them.
9. To promote blood donation, eye-donation, and
body-donation and to create public awareness regarding
this.
10. To work for family welfare and population
control, to provide free health/hospital/dispensary
services, and to establish First Aid Centers,
Mobile Health services, health camps etc.
11. To undertake programs for guidance and research
in agriculture, forest and environment. To experiment
in ‘ideal agriculture’ and forestation.
12. To promote tourism, and develop tourist spots,
‘yuva-gram’, and ‘shilp-gram’.
13. To work for public education through lecture
series, seminars, camps etc., and to establish
libraries and publication facilities.
14. To facilitate self employment for the youth,
and set up institutions for vocational training
in trade, industry and agricultural fields.
15. To conduct self development programs for nurturing
human virtues and spiritualism that help people
lead an ideal life.
16. To promote and conserve the heritage of art
and culture by providing platforms to the youth,
organizing competitive programs, public events,
organizing cultural festivals, and exchange programs
to strengthen ‘unity in diversity’.
17. To establish welfare centers, dormitories,
guest houses and cultural centers at various places
in India.
18. To work for the development of youth and children
by inculcating awareness, thoughtfulness, rationality,
scientific outlook and democratic values among
them.
19. To promote games, sports and such other extra
curricular activities among youth by providing
them with amenities, opportunities and motivation.
20. To expand Yuvak Biradari as one big family
wherein people realize that co-existence, co-living
and co-travel refine their conscience, increase
personal tolerance and sensitivity, unite them
in their purpose and spirit, and deepen their
belief in the virtues of family system.
21. To accept and work in tandem with the policies
of United Nations Organization (UNO), to cherish
its development goals, and to contribute in creation
of a peaceful and prosperous world where the spirits
of universal solidarity and brotherhood prevail.
22. To cooperate and partner with organisations/institutions
that has objectives similar to Yuvak Biradari.
23. To pursue any new objective in accordance
with the principles of nonviolence, peace, universal
brotherhood, human development, modernity, social
justice, humanity and rationality.
24. To run charitable programs/schemes at any
time and any place by using money received by
Yuvak Biradari through donation, deposit, dividend,
fees, grant, award, and through any other income
generating activity.
25. To set up branches of Yuvak Biradari, Insaani
Biradari and Biradari Gram at different places
in India and abroad.
26. To inculcate leadership qualities among youth,
and make them aware of their roles and responsibilities
in meeting the challenges and problems of their
time.
27. To promote public health awareness about epidemics,
hygiene, family planning, sex education, HIV/AIDS,
first aid, immunization, drugs & alcoholism
etc.
28. To work for personality/skill/career development
of the youth, and improving general awareness
among them.
29. To create employment and work opportunities
for the youth.
31. To create a pool of volunteers to provide
emergency services during times of crisis and
disasters like flood, drought, earthquake, epidemic,
communal riots etc.
32. To work for the welfare of slum dwellers.
33. To promote a secular and scientific outlook
and to abolish superstitions and social malpractices.
34. To work for rehabilitation of prisoners.
35. To adopt villages for their overall development.
36. To strengthen universal brotherhood by running
youth exchange programs so that youth from different
nations, states, castes, religions etc. acquaint
themselves with each other’s culture, belief
system, life style and mental outlook
37. To organise programs for development and promotion
of various traditional and modern art forms including
cinema, dance, drama, music, theatre, literature,
sculpture, painting and handicraft.
38. To run programs for scholarship, fellowship,
award etc. for the youth to recognize and encourage
their talent in different fields of study and
work.
